Michiana’s Premiere Classical Ballet School and Home of the Southold Dance Theater Pre Professional Ballet Company

Intermediate Level students develop a solid foundation of classical ballet vocabulary that emphasizes proper posture and alignment and an increased strength of legs and feet. Students in these classes also develop and increase their sense of artistry.   Intermediate Level classes are best suited for children ages 8 to 14.


 

Ballet I (Ages 7+)

One weekly class required. Classes take place in Studio A.

Monday 4:00 – 5:00 at Southold

OR

Wednesday 4:30-5:30 at Southold

Dress Requirements: Dance attire required.

Girls – Black camisole dance leotard, pink tights, pink canvas ballet shoes and hair in a bun.

Boys – White t-shirt, black tights or shorts and black canvas ballet shoes.


 

Ballet II (By Placement Only)

Two weekly classes required. Classes take place in Studio B.

Monday & Wednesday 4:00 – 5:15 at Southold

Dress Requirements: Dance attire required.

Girls – Black camisole dance leotard, pink tights, pink canvas ballet shoes and hair in a bun.

Boys – White t-shirt, black tights or shorts and black canvas ballet shoes.


 

Ballet III (By Placement Only)

Three weekly classes required. Monday/Tuesday classes take place in  Studio C, Saturday class takes place in Studio B.

Monday & Tuesday 4:00 – 5:30, Saturday 10:00 – 11:30 at Southold

Dress Requirements: Dance attire required.

Girls – Black camisole dance leotard, pink tights, pink canvas ballet shoes and hair in a bun.

Boys – White t-shirt, black tights or shorts and black canvas ballet shoes.


 

Ballet IV (By placement only)

Four weekly classes required. Level 4 classes take place in Studio D.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 4:00 – 5:30 

Thursday Pointe Class (Studio C) 5:40 – 6:30

Thursday Jazz Class (Studio C) 6:40-7:40

Saturday 10:00 – 11:30

Dress Requirements: Dance attire required.

Girls – Black camisole dance leotard, pink tights, pink canvas ballet shoes and hair in a bun.

Boys – White t-shirt, black tights or shorts and black canvas ballet shoes.

 

Payment Options

Payment Plan #1

One payment.  Payment in full is due by the first day of classes. This also applies to Summer training.

Payment Plan #2*

Nine monthly payments.  Payment is due by the 10th of each month. Autopay is strongly suggested.

 

Tuition Assistance

Southold Dance Theater offers tuition assistance on an annual basis to a limited number of students ages 3-18. The amount of assistance may vary depending on the circumstances of the student and their family. For more information or to pick up a form, please contact the Southold office.

Withdrawal Policy and Tuition Refunds

Students who wish to withdraw from classes must give two weeks’ notice.  Amounts due must be paid in full, including any outstanding private lesson fees for those applicable.

Tuition is non-refundable with the following exceptions

    1. Students whose classes are cancelled for insufficient enrollment will be given their choice of a pro-rated account credit or tuition refund.
    2. Students who withdraw for medical reasons with physician documentation will be given their choice of a pro-rated account credit or tuition refund.
