Fairytale Ballet Camp

$60.00 per session

Fairytale Ballet Camp is a delightful camp that provides young dancers with a wonderful summer experience learning about classical ballet. Using the famous fairytale ballets for inspiration and creativity, including Swan Lake, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, the camp will include daily ballet classes with emphasis on musicality, movement and shapes. Dancers will also participate in enriching activities, including games, arts and crafts that relate to dance.

A brief performance will be held at the end of each week.

The second week will have the same focus, but it will feature different activities so that dancers who wish to take both weeks will be exposed to a different experience during the second week of camp.

Classes begin each day at 9:30 a.m. and end at 1:00 p.m. Dancers will be provided a nutritious snack and drink each day. The attire for camp is comfortable dance clothing (leotard and tights preferred) and ballet shoes. No dance experience is required

The cost for each week of camp is $60.

There will be a special presentation for the family at the end of each week, in which dancers will demonstrate their new skills while reenacting portions of the famous fairytale ballets.
